11月月には鉄骨が組まれ、シンボルである三角の屋根が組まれました。このころは毎日工事、進展が分かり、仕事帰りに真っ暗ななかで、現場を見学していました。基礎工事のころよりも、建物が大きく感じられるようになり、ワクワクしておりました。
現場では細かな決定をしなくてはならないことが増え、休みの日に現場のプレハブの事務所で何時間も業者さんに集まってもらい、検討していました。
杵村所長に、さまざまな提案をしていただいたおかげで、満足のいく建築となっていきました。迷った時には池田監督にも、率直なアドバイスを頂くようになり、順調に工程が進んで行きました。監督はいつもおそくまで事務所におられ、仕事帰りなどに立ち寄って相談することも多くなり笑顔で会話ができるようになった11月でした。
