 米子美術館に「三沢厚彦　アニマルズ'１１　ｉｎ　Ｙｏｎａｇｏ」を見に行きました。

去年の12月から開催されていて、行ってみたかったですがなかなか行けず、いよいよ明日で終わりとのことで、滑り込みで見学してきました。

 

SN3J0215.jpg　昨日までで来場者が1万5千人を超えたとのことでしたが、今日は見学者はまばらでゆっくり見ることが出来ました。クスノキの丸太を彫って作られた作品でしたが大型のものが多く、いずれも彫り跡をしっかり残しゴツゴツした重量感が特徴的でした。

 

ライオン.jpg頭から尻尾まで約3Ｍのライオンの像が一番気に入りました。
体の中央付近までにおよぶ立派なたてがみの質感がたまりませんでした。
