7月初旬に発見したカナヘビの卵ですが、7月中旬にはつやつやで1.5倍くらいの大きさになっていました。

どこまで大きくなるんだろうと、羽化を楽しみにしていましたが、先日卵にしわが寄っているのを発見し、死んでしまったものとあきらめていました。
今朝数日ぶりにのぞいてみると、なんと羽化していました。
3匹孵っていましたが、1匹はひからびて死んでいました。発見が遅かったようです。
それでも残りの2匹は元気です。
急いで水を与え、昼からえさ探しをしました。
生きたまま口に合う大きさのエサをとるのは難しく、バタバタ虫を追いかけていると、数分で脱水症をおこしそうになり、退散しました。
生まれたてのカナヘビ、飼うのは難しいかもです (`-`；)
